The inclination-mass generator
The factor by which the true mass exceeds the measured m sin i, against orbital inclination, with the probability of an inclination below each value on the same axis. Randomly oriented orbits are uniform in cos i, so the median inclination is 60° and the median correction is only 1.155. The correction exceeds 2 for the 13% of systems within 30° of face-on, and it is unbounded.
