Pump angle — where it appears

The angle between a spacecraft's velocity relative to a planet and the planet's own velocity, which fixes the heliocentric orbit at a given encounter speed. A flyby changes it by rotating the relative velocity vector, so designing a tour is a walk along this single coordinate.
